About me…

I’m a working mother with NO filter. I’ll say whatever comes to mind, out loud, this is usually a random factoid or inspirational quote. Arts, crafts and home decor are a few of my many glorious passions. I love stealing ideas from Pinterest or home magazines and adapting them to my own style. Tinkering with electronic gadgets and finding out how they work is also a hobby. I have replaced many a broken phone screen or damaged speaker.

Personal development are two words that I live by. They are my mantra. I believe the meaning to life is to learn, create and develop. You are never too old to set another goal or dream another dream. This is the reason I have completed many interesting courses from Proof-reading to First aid to Floristry. I love to learn.

I also love to read. An early night with a good book is my idea of heaven. I have lost count of the times I’ve been so caught up in the story that its suddenly 4am and I only have 2 hours of sleep until I need to be up.

I thought writing about myself would be hard because I would have nothing to say. Lol! This was actually a lot of fun. I have only told you about the positive things I can do, so here comes the bad…

I am a terrible cook and can burn air. I frequently stop talking mid-sentence, mainly because I am mentally trying to do or remember the hundreds of tasks I have to get done. But it is very annoying and drives my kids and partner mad. If there’s anyone else out there that does this, please get in touch. We can start a support group.

My biggest embarrassment also came to light quite recently. My family now know my secret shame… I do not know my 6 and 8 times tables by heart. Although I am working on this and have got by these 33 years without it. Maths, who knew it would be my biggest nemesis.

Anyway, I think that’s enough about me for now. I have to leave some mystery and keep you wanting more.

If you do want to know more, send me a message. I’m always an open book.

Warmest Salutations

  1. Hello! So I too am shocking with times tables and often stop talking mid-sentence or substitute words with completely different words if I can’t think of the one I need (I say it’s using up my vocabulary as otherwise the words get stuck in my head!). Just wanted to say love your posts and keeping going with your personal development!
